Special Offering at Temple
Dear Temple Family,
Over the last few weeks we slowed down to reflect on the death and resurrection of Jesus. In light of his sacrifice we want to bring to your attention some important needs and give you an opportunity to respond sacrificially.
As many of you know, our church building now over 20 years old requires continual upkeep and care. While our deacons do a great job with monitoring these issues there are surprises that are not always foreseen.
This past winter two of our large heating units broke and a section of the roof needs to be replaced. In total we are looking to raise $20,000 dollars to keep our building in good ministry condition. We are committed to building ‘strength at home’ so that we can reach out in new ways. Vision always flows from a place of strength.
With busy summer camps around the corner and many new visitors at Easter, I am reminded of how important our first impression will be. Having a building that allows us to do ministry effectively is deeply important and so we invite you to give to this special project. The Bible says to give cheerfully knowing that hearts are grounded in the joy that Jesus has paid the ultimate sacrifice for us.
Thanks in advance for your generosity,
