When you visit Temple...
Attending church for the first time can feel like a big step out of your comfort zone. To help makes things a bit easier, we want to give you a sense of what you can expect when you come to Temple Baptist Church. Here are some things you will notice as you arrive:
The Main Service
As you probably expect, our Worship Center is the place families gather together when the service begins. There are three main components to our 10:30am service: worship, our kids program and the sermon. During worship you will enjoy listening to contemporary Christian music. A time of singing together is followed by a sermon delivered by one of our pastors or guest speakers. Our kids are dismissed part way through the morning to enjoy Temple's Treehouse. Temple's Treehouse is a special program where groups of children are led by an amazing group leader. These groups are interactive and include a morning snack.
During the morning service we also take up an offering in which people can give to Temple Baptist Church to support our ministries. Please note: If you are a guest with us, we don’t want you to feel obligated to give.
Even before you come inside, you'll notice that we have set up parking teams to help you find a spot as quickly and effortlessly as possible.
At the main entrances friendly greeters and pastoral staff will help you feel welcome and direct you to where you need to go.
The Welcome Centre
There is a Welcome Centre in the main lobby. The people here will be glad to say hi, answer any questions you have and provide you with resources related to our different ministries.
Our Connections Centre is a great place to find out how you can take your next step at Temple. It is located in our main lobby, just outside the auditorium.
