Part of the bestselling Emotionally Healthy Spirituality book collection, The Emotionally Healthy Woman provides women a way out of surface-level spirituality to genuine freedom in Christ. This book is for every woman who thinks, "I can’t keep pretending everything is fine!" The author speaks like a friend as she uses personal stories and biblical principles to help you find your way out of superficial spirituality and move to a deep, meaningful, life-changing relationship with God. When you quit those things that are damaging to your soul or the souls of others, you are freed up to choose other ways of being and relating that are rooted in love and lead to life. An Introduction to Child Dedications
Child dedication at Temple acknowledges that children are a heritage from God (Psalm 127:3). It also understands that raising children in faith in Jesus is difficult in our culture. We believe that your church family should support parents in training their children in the ways of Jesus (Proverbs 22:6). We start this partnership of raising children in Jesus through child dedication. Our child dedication process starts with you expressing your desire to raise your children up in faith in Jesus. We then invite you to attend our child dedication class to help you understand what child dedication at Temple means, what you are committing to as a parent of faith, and what Temple is committing to as a community of faith. Saturday, May 6th at 10am in the Chapel |
Baptism at Temple
At Temple, we believe in helping people grow spiritually. Baptism is an especially important part of the journey of a Christ-follower. If you are considering baptism or have questions about baptism, then join us for our next Baptism Class. The class is a great place to find out what baptism means, why we should be baptized, and the difference between infant baptism and adult baptism. The class is open not only to adults but also to any children who are considering baptism. Sunday, May 7 at 8:45am (just before the Sunday service) |
Membership at Temple
At Temple, our purpose is expressed through three big statements. We are a church that wants people to: (1) Love God Passionately, (2) Serve Neighbours Generously, and (3) Grow in Christ Intentionally. We do this by creating spaces where people are inspired and equipped become more like Jesus and live out their lives as his apprentices (disciples). Becoming a member at Temple Baptist Church involves more than simply putting your name on a list. We want you to move beyond participation and into partnership with us. This one morning seminar will provide you with an overview of who we are as a church, what we believe, and ways you can get involved. Saturday, May 6th from 9am-12pm |
Walk On
If you are looking for a next step that will strengthen and encourage your faith, consider Walk On. This gathering is designed to help you address five important questions that will help you on your journey into life with Christ. These questions are: 1. Who is God? 2. What is the Gospel? 3. What is the Kingdom of God? 4. How do I grow spiritually? 5. What do I do next? We hope to see your there as we learn to Walk On with Jesus together. Five Sundays beginning on May 21 at 11:30am in the Prayer Room |
