TERRY NORRIS · Lead Pastor
Terry and Dureen Norris are originally from Savannah, Georgia. They have been in St. Charles, Missouri the last 10 years serving at Harvester Christian Church. They are the proud parents of three adult children; Meg (Skaggs), Sara (Akihiro), and Kiley, two grandkids; (Judah and Zeke), and two sons by choice, although not by birth, Isaiah and Elijah. Terry was the pastor of Care and Formations at Harvester Christian Church. Terry has a Master of Arts degree in counseling and served as the director of Lifechange Christian Counseling Center at Compassion Christian Church in Savannah prior to coming to Harvester. In addition to his pastoral role at Harvester, he has been involved in training leaders and pastors through Jesus College and Dallas Willard Ministries as an adjunct teacher of webinars and courses. Dureen served in a ministry called Love the Lou, a Christ-centered inner city outreach in downtown St. Louis. Dureen was also on staff as the Connections pastor at Harvester. They are both graduates of The Merold Institute of Ministry. KATHERINE REYES · Director of Children's Ministry
Katherine joined the Temple staff as Children’s Director in June 2006. Katherine oversees all of our children’s ministry programs (Temple's Tree House, Girls Alive, Sunday School, Plan to Protect and Day Camp). Katherine has a passion for seeing children accept Jesus as their forever friend and helping them grow in their faith. Her spiritual gifts include administration and teaching. Katherine believes that children need to be taught the Word of God but also see Jesus’ love demonstrated in everyday people. SHAY ZOLLINGER · Ministry Assistant
Shay grew up in Lambton County most of her life and is very excited about the opportunity to now serve the community in a local church setting as Temple’s Ministry Assistant. She is a graduate of the Word of Life Bible Institute (Owen Sound, ON) and is now currently working on her Bachelor of Theology in Youth Ministry through Vanguard College Online (Edmonton, AB). She has also completed her Level 1 certification through the Association of Biblical Counselors (ABC) as well as the Internship Program through Caring for the Heart Ministries. For as long as she can remember, Shay has had a passion for youth ministry and a desire to minister to the next generation of teens and young adults. During her time at Bible college, God expanded this passion to include Biblical counselling which led to her seeking more official training and certification to be able to counsel youth using a gospel-centered method. She is eager to see how God leads her to use her love of both youth ministry and Biblical counselling in her new role as she serves in the student ministries at Temple. Shay’s ultimate desire is to see today’s youth KNOW, GROW, and GO. That they would come to KNOW Jesus, be discipled to GROW in their relationship with Him, and then GO into the world as His image-bearers and be lights for Christ in their homes, schools, jobs, sports teams, etc. Shay’s favourite thing is to get coffee with other people and hear what’s on their heart and how God is working in their lives. She also loves music, reading, writing, hiking, and learning or experiencing new things. She is married to Tobi and they have one beautiful daughter, Hosanna Grace. email - [email protected] |

GAIL ANN VEGH · Director of Worship Arts
Gail Ann joined the Temple team in January of 2020 and serves as Director of Worship Arts. She is a native of Halifax, Nova Scotia, but had been living in Florida since 2003. Professionally, she has been in office management and church leadership since 1999. Gail Ann’s heart is to set the example that worship is far more than just music, but a lifestyle that we choose to live everyday. SHELLEY MATSSON · Director of Operations
Shelley joined our staff as our part-time Administrative and Office Manager. Shelley is a North American Baptist College alumnus and brings 15 years of valuable administration experience to Temple. She has worked with a technology firm and an academic institution where she operated beside the Vice President and the Dean of Admissions. Both Shelley and her husband Rolf are quite active in our ministry programs. NICOLE THOMAS · Administrative Assistant
Nicole provides administrative support to staff and members of Temple Baptist Church two days a week. Aside from her time here in the office, Nicole also volunteers in the toddlers room during our Sunday morning worship service. Nicole keeps busy helping her husband, Simon, and their three kids, Lachlan, Hudson and Eamon by traveling around and visiting some of the local sights. email - [email protected] |

JOSH SNOW · Site Maintenance Manager
Josh has been attending Temple as long as he can remember (he also went to school here). Josh is excited to be able to provide a service for his church family. He really enjoys helping people and is excited to get more involved in the church as it pertains to his job as well as creating connections with people that will allow Josh to grow in his walk with Christ. Josh has a 4 year old son named Jacob. He enjoys hunting and playing/watching sports. Josh also enjoys talking with people about theology and history. email - [email protected] |

Dureen Norris · Director of Connections and Volunteer Engagement
Dureen spent the first part of her adult years in Savannah Ga. where she ran a childcare center for over 20 years. She and Terry were then called to serve at Harvester Christian Church in St. Charles Mo. where she served as the Connections Pastor for 6 years. She and Terry have 3 grown adult girls, and 2 precious grandsons in St. Charles and are legal guardians over 2 boys, Isaiah and Elijah who are in Sarnia with us. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her family which is usually centred around holidays, food, and football. Dureen enjoys serving wherever there is a need. Her passion has always been to work with people, helping them connect to something bigger than themselves and find a place where they can use their gifts and talents for His glory. Terry Babbey · Tech Support
Terry and his wife Glynis have been attending and serving at Temple for over 30 years. They have two children and two granddaughters. Previously, Terry worked in IT for Lambton College. He is excited to see how technology can help further the kingdom.
