Treehouse Reopening Questions
Do I need to register ahead of time?
Yes, this will help us greatly to provide a smoother check in process and ensure that limits are not exceeded. We also need to
know if we have the right amount of materials prepared ahead of time.
Is Treehouse registration the same as the main service registration?
No, we have a separate registration for Treehouse.
How do I register my child for in-person Treehouse?
We will be posting a weekly registration link on the Temple Baptist Church website and the Temple’s Treehouse Kids Facebook
page. Please keep in mind numbers will be limited and the spaces may fill up quickly. You will need to register your child each
week.
What if I forgot to register my child?
We will only be accepting children at the door if there is room available. We are limited in the number of children we can
accommodate.
What if I register and can not attend?
We would like to know if you are unable to come but are registered. You will be able to go back into the registration link and un
register or email Katherine Reyes ([email protected])
A what time slot is Treehouse being offered?
As we begin to reopen for in-person programing, we will be starting with the 11am service time.
What ages are being offered?
We are starting with JK-Grade 6. The children will be in the gym seated with their sibling groups. Nursery and toddlers will
remain closed at this time.
What will my child be doing in Temple’s Treehouse?
Temple’s Treehouse is our children’s ministry where kids can come and connect with Jesus and one another. Kids will be
learning a Bible lesson following our current curriculum with stories, crafts and more. We will be having a stage set up in the
gym to help create a fun large group atmosphere. Children will be seated distantly from others; each sibling group will be
designated a space in the gym.
What can I expect upon arrival to the church?
Please enter through the gym doors where you will be greeted and checked in. Please have only one guardian with the children
you are registering as we are trying to limit the number of people in the entry way.
May I stay with my child in Treehouse?
Yes, if you wish to stay with them at their designated space in the gym. If you feel your child will need individual help during
the kid’s service, we encourage you to stay. You will need to register if you are planning to stay with your child.
What if I don’t feel comfortable sending my child back to in person Temple’s Treehouse?
What programs will be available formy child?
Our online content will continue to be available on the Temple’s Treehouse Kids Facebook Page. We also post our weekly
videos on our YouTube page (Treehouse @ Home). The Temple Baptist Church website will also have link to a Treehouse page
where you will find resources.

We currently have limited number of volunteers to promote safety at our in-person Treehouse. If you would like to volunteer,
please contact Katherine ([email protected]).
Also, if you would like to be involved in our Treehouse @ Home videos feel free to contact Katherine.

Yes, volunteers are required to wear masks at all times during in-person Treehouse following the guidelines in place by
Lambton Public Health (Sarnia By-Law 76).
Will children be required to wear masks?
Yes, the Lambton Public Health Face Covering By-Law states that all children over the age of 2 are required to wear masks
unless they fall into an exemption category.
How will I know if a leader or another child in my child’s classroom tests positive for covid-19?
If a child or leader from your child’s classroom tests positive for Covid-19 you will be contacted either by Lambton Public Health
or a Temple Baptist staff member or by both.
What happens if a child develops symptoms of COVID-19 while they are in Temple’s Treehouse?
If a child develops symptoms of COVID-19 while they are in Treehouse we will immediately move them, to a room designated
for isolation. We will contact the parent or guardian to come for their child(ren) immediately. The child will not be left alone in
the isolation room but will have leader(s) present with them at a safe distance.
What can my child bring into Treehouse with them?
We know that this is a tough time for children. If your child would like to bring a comfort item, they are more than welcome to,
if they are able to hold onto it for the whole time and it is not posing much of a distraction. It is encouraged that your child
brings a water bottle (labelled with their name) as the water fountain is not available to the public. Please do not bring food
items.
